Countess of Chester

We, the undersigned, call on the Countess of Chester Hospital Foundation Trust to reverse its decision to bar patients from Wales from new outpatient referrals. The unilateral ban on Welsh patients is unethical and goes against the values of the NHS. There is a financial dispute that needs to be resolved urgently between various NHS bodies and they must act immediately to end this stalemate. In the meantime we demand that patients are allowed to access services at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

I, my partner and our 3 children all born at countess. It’s also our nearest hospital. Living just over the by a few miles shouldn’t stop us from being allowed to go there. Great hospital and great staff

Myself my husband and our 4 children were all born at the countess! I refuse for any of us to be treated by Wrexham hospital after they were responsible for my grandmothers death!! We should be able to be treated at COSH for the above reasons.

Live in North Wales borders always use Countess had several Operations here just hope I can continue my treatment/appointmrnts here… Love this Hospital have a lot of faith in it .. Dread the thought of having to go elsewhere

I live in Deeside and recently had my operation at the Countess, which is my nearest hospital. Wouldn’t have wanted to travel to Bodelwyddan or Wrexham for all my appointments as not convenient.
