Unlock the Nine Acre

The Nine-Acre Field is an important open space and playing field in Wrexham and we want to see Wrexham Council unlock the gate to enable the local community to make full use of it for play and recreation. The Acton and Maesydre area has a lack of playing fields and this will help reduce that deficit.

Mae’r Cae Naw Erw yn gae chwarae pwysig yn Wrecsam ac rydym am weld Cyngor Wrecsam yn datgloi’r giât i alluogi’r gymuned leol i wneud defnydd llawn ohono ar gyfer chwarae a hamdden. Mae diffyg meysydd chwarae yn ardal Acton a Maesydre a bydd hyn yn helpu i leihau’r diffyg hwnnw.

We, the undersigned, call on Wrexham County Borough Council's Education Department to unlock the gate to the Nine-Acre Field and to enter into negotiations with Acton Community Council, the Nine-Acre Action Group and the wider community on ensuring it is accessible and safe for all.

Mae'r isod yn galw ar i Adran Addysg Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam ddatgloi’r gât i’r Cae Naw Erw ac i ddechrau trafodaethau gyda Chyngor Cymuned Acton, Grŵp Gweithredu Naw Erw a’r gymuned ehangach i sicrhau ei fod yn hygyrch ac yn ddiogel i bawb.

Time WCBC stopped thinking they can tell us what to do and represent us instead. For too long now WCBC have treated local authority land as a potential development opportunity
