Stop urban sprawl on Mold Rd green field

No description available.

A proposal to build a new estate of almost 100 houses on green fields off Mold Road will cause more urban sprawl. The scheme will also cause more congestion on the Mold Road, an important link from the Gwersyllt area into Wrexham. It will also put more pressure on existing services such as health, schools and other infrastructure.

The plan is currently at the consultation stage before being submitted for planning permission to Wrexham Council. It's important that you have your say at this stage to make it clear that local residents have legitimate concerns about this development.

No description available.

We, the undersigned, oppose plans to build another 100 houses on a greenfield site off Mold Road next to St Giles Park estate on the grounds of increased congestion on an already busy road and increased pressure on schools and health services.

Where will all the children go to school? That road is really busy and backed up as it is. The local doctors is already on a lot of pressure and demand. Before more houses are built, local amenities needs looking at. They just can’t cope with the extra demand.

Road infrastructure and facilities in area not suitable. Pedestrians crossing Mold Road from Ty Newydd and St Giles is dangerous never mind further up the road.

This area is already congested especially at school run times. And do we seriously want to add to the already overwhelmed GP’s, Schools and the Maelor with extra houses/families. And it’s called green land for a reason leave it be.

By building yet a further 100 houses on top of those being built over in rhosrobin/rhosddu will make a massive impact on our schooling road traffic doctors and health care . This is clearly ludicrous there’s already a massive shortage on healthcare and schooling in the area and to consider another 100 home with poss 2+ children and cars per home that would not only cause traffic impact on your roads but also the carbon print also. This is green land for a reason and it’s been this way for many a years passed. Leave the area of gwersyllt green there’s not alot of it left thanks to new build constructions.
