No to urban sprawl

We, the undersigned, are opposed to further urban sprawl locally and the merging of communities surrounding Wrexham. It will increase traffic congestion and pollution, put additional pressure on schools, health services and other infrastructure.

    Again a complete and utterly joke- we can’t get to see doctors as it is – the hospital can’t cope with the number in the area as is is and now you want to add more houses !!!!! This is the country was a beautiful town – you have just ruined and and continuing to do so !!!!

    We see congestion building up on the 483 bypass on a Regular basis so more houses near the Road will only mean matters getting worse and to many outsiders buying houses here and working elsewhere for a quick Route to chester and other areas.

    We don’t currently have the required infrastructure to cope with more housing in these areas. We need more GP Surgeries, more schools and a bigger hospital which has sufficient parking before we should contemplate more housing

    Are there really that many Wrexham people in need of a new home, or is this part of a wider cross-border housing need that will turn the town into a commuter town for Cheshire and Merseyside. This will alter local demographics, and will not help the revival of the Welsh language in the area.

    Wrexham infrastructure is at the moment struggling to cope with the population it has now without bringing more and more people in to flood Doctors, Schools,Hospitals with even more people, More Traffic, More pollution When WMBC are putting restriction on the bypass to reduce it, WMBC STILL trying to become a City while the incumbent council members cant even run a village let alone a town

    Let planning matters such as this be led by residents, not fought against by them. There needs to be a great increase in participatory democracy.

    This council shows no respect for the wishes of the Wrexham public!

    One disaster after another, Ty Pawb, 9 Acre Field and I’m sure these planning applications will follow suit!
