No to nuclear waste

The Labour Welsh Government along with their Conservative counterparts in London are asking communities across Wales to consider accepting nuclear waste in return for money.

This radioactive material will continue to be dangerous to human health and the environment for hundreds of thousands of years. We oppose any attempt by both Governments to bribe Wrexham into accepting this toxic waste.

Keep Wrexham Nuclear Free.

An absolute disgrace that radioactive/ toxic waste should even be considered to be ‘dumped’ in Wrexham or any other place that is not directly affiliated with its production. Such sites that create the waste should have in place a disposal site that does not affect public areas. Understanding radiation and how it can affect matter, I personally feel this is disgusting that it even be considered close to populated areas; or in the surrounding areas where wildlife and beautiful scenery may be affected.
