Don't lift the lockdown in north Wales!

Covid-19 has still to reach its peak in north Wales, and the region is now recording more new cases than anywhere else in Wales.

The Welsh Government should keep the lockdown in place until the reproductive rate of the virus (the 'R' figure) is significantly and consistently lower than 1, and both the infection and death rates show a continued fall for several weeks in every region of Wales.

We feel it is nowhere near safe enough to open up wales there’ll be tourists from everywhere flock here and our services like the NHS will be strained to its Max it’s not right !

Covid-19 has a firm grip on North Wales. We need time to reduce the R rate to below 1 and to reduce those carrying the virus on any one day in North Wales to well below 1,000.

Other countries who have kept up lockdown have not had many deaths for example New Zealand. I think it is the best approach to keep our friends and families safe.
