Countess of Chester

We, the undersigned, call on the Countess of Chester Hospital Foundation Trust to reverse its decision to bar patients from Wales from new outpatient referrals. The unilateral ban on Welsh patients is unethical and goes against the values of the NHS. There is a financial dispute that needs to be resolved urgently between various NHS bodies and they must act immediately to end this stalemate. In the meantime we demand that patients are allowed to access services at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Countess of chester has always been mine and my childrens hospital from birth…all our records are there. I want to continue being seen by my and my childrens hospital…i pay for parking.

No hospital should shut there doors because of where you live.

I have a medical condition which Chester hospital has a specialist department for, Wrexham don’t. I will continue to go to Chester a&e for any concerns as I know facilities at Wrexham don’t cover my condition. You should be allowed to access whatever hospital is best to care for you regardless of country.

I think it is ridiculous why not start charging foreigners like all the other countries do and then we can look after out own people regardless of borgers
