Nid yw myfyrwyr sy'n mynychu Chweched Dosbarth Ysgol Morgan Llwyd yn derbyn cludiant ysgol am ddim oherwydd toriadau'r cyngor. Mae hyn yn wahanol iawn i fwyafrif llethol o fyfyrwyr 6ed dosbarth sy'n astudio drwy'r Saesneg yn y sir.

Galwn ar Gyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam i sicrhau cydraddoldeb i fyfyrwyr ar draws y fwrdeistref sirol beth bynnag fo iaith addysg. Dylai myfyrwyr Ysgol Morgan Llwyd gael yr un cyfle â myfyrwyr sy'n astudio trwy gyfrwng y Saesneg.

Students attending Ysgol Morgan Llwyd's Sixth Form do not receive free school transport due to council cutbacks. This is in stark contrast to many other 6th-form students in the county borough of Wrexham.

We call on Wrexham County Borough Council to ensure parity for students across the county borough regardless of the language of education. Students at Ysgol Morgan Llwyd should get the same service as students studying through the medium of English.

All children receiving education in any county should have free transport to and from school . This suggestion by wrexham council to charge pupils studying through the medium of welsh , when it is the language of our country, is ludicrous . Instead of promoting the language , they are discriminating against it. If they are so desperately keen to save money , then all schools should be charged , using the same criteria as is being applied to ysgol Morgan Lloyd.

It beggars belief that this is happening in the newest city in Wales!!!

This is a clearly politically motivated decision by the primarily English speaking Wrexham council. The people of Wrexham should fight this grotesque injustice in the strongest possible way. We are the largest “city” in north Wales, and to have a council who think that this is a fair way to treat welsh students who have opted to study in our national language is shameful.
